Vehicle Crime Prevention Reminder

We've recently seen reports of vehicle thefts and attempted thefts across the Swansea area.

South Wales Police would like to remind residents to take a few simple steps to help keep their vehicles secure:

Always lock your vehicle, even when leaving it for a short period of time.

Keep keys away from doors, windows and consider using a signal-blocking pouch for keyless vehicles

Remove valubales from eye sight, or take them with you.

Consider installing CCTV, dashcams, or parking in a well-let areas where possible.

If your vehicle has additional security devises, such as steering wheel locks or trackers, please make use of them.

If you witness suspicious behaviour around vehicles, or have any information regarding vehicle crime within your area, please report it to South Wales Police via 101 or 999 for an emergency.
